Where are all the divers today?

The sky is cloudy, the temperatures a little cooler than recent days, no mosquitoes to bite anyone yet at 12:15 PM on a Saturday we have two cave divers in the system-two. Well on the bright side it gives the system a rest. The water levels have been going up recently and have gone up a foot since yesterday. No tannic water yet! I looked at Bonnet this morning and the basin's water clarity has really gone down since yesterday, still no tannic water or gator in sight.

I finally got the chance to dive Bonnett yesterday (the 17th). The bassin had gone up slightly (1 inch)from the day before, when we had come over just to take a peak at the bassin.
The water was clear everywhere (I was lead diver) but there was silt deposits everywhere and literally no flow whatsoever (we made our own).
We went upstream about 500ft past the 4way split.

dont worry.....Joe (Tegg) and I will be up there next weekend :D . it would be cool to have that many divers while were up there. Acouple weeks ago it was hard finding parking at Orange Grove.

Don't worry Janet. Myself, and a contingent from Polk county will be up for the entire weekend diving there. We will all be camping at the River Rendevous.

My Dad and I dove OW at Orange Grove today, it was nice to have the place to ourselves and be able to take OW divers in.

Is the river rising again? I know it came up some but does this mean another flood is coming and the springs will be blown again?

Well I dove orange grove yesterday and the water level is way up and there was no flow in the cave if there was any it was a very slight amount. They had a open water course going on and the realy did a good job of clearing alot of the Algea out and off the bottom LOL. Vis was still good I would say 40' to 50' .

The levels are going down up river. They are still rising in cave country, but that shouldn't last too long.

Well, I will be there. I am here at camp, with a whole mess of work to do watching my spring siphon a little, and going to go for a horseback ride with a cowgirl. I am in for drinking beer, as far as singing I dont know where in Mayo but the skybox is open till 2am, where our friend is a demi-god after his rendition of Footloose. but I will be at orange groove teaching OW then for a little cave dive.
