On Sunday June 12th, 2005 , while executing my 2nd day ck out with TJ in the Peanut Tunnel of Peacock, my 4 diving companions & myself witnessed the dimming of my antique Bob Goodman Cannister primary lite. It was sad to see this happen, as it had survived 3 generations of cave exploration without failure. After completion of this particular excursion, & surfacing we noticed that the lite head itself had water inside of the o-ringed sealed switch. I took it apart this morning, & tried to salvage the monster, but no luck, as the retention ring on the sealed beam cracked, & the lite is now destined for Cindy's museum.
So Cindy, if you get wind of this please drop me a line & I'll be happy to ship it to you for adding to your museum. BTW, it was one of your trained Florida Birds that got me Saturday at Peacock, & TJ didn't really wack me over the forehead with his regulator for doing a no-no on the dive-!
