SPG Hoses for HOG First Stages used for Sidemount

I've got Hog DIN first stages I use for Sidemount. I put 6 inch SPG/HP hoses on them using the "top" HP port. Because the HP ports on these regs are offset a bit - the SPGs end up sticking "down" and increase my profile while diving.

Have any of you guys dealt with this issue? I'm thinking I could use 9" hoses and come from the bottom HP port and back up. Thoughts?

I have my 1st stages facing in toward me. That positions the HP hose and SPG in toward my shoulder.

I use them with 6" hoses pointing down or back depending on your viewpoint and I just reach back and bend/bring them forward when I need to check pressure.

Works for me but YMMV
