The Highway 307 overpass through Playa del Carmen is finally finished after a couple of years of construction and opened last night.
I went over the new overpass today and can report a smooth ride with the speed limit set at 80 km/h.
This is making passing through Playa del Carmen from Cancun to the Tulum area a much easier and faster undertaking as well for us living in Playa taking away the through traffic from the lower lanes.
