Anyone using 2 d-rings on each shoulder for SM - any reason these are retained instead of one? What is the config and reason if using 2 and not singles per shoulder? Just checking if any agencies or individuals are advocating this. Thanks, Regards, Martin.

used to have our Nomads with the two D rings per side, but i got sick of checking the top and bottom to find things, more trouble than it was worth.
Now using one per shoulder and i like it better. ymmv

I use 2. I use the top one to hang lights, the bottom one for stages. It is also useful, if you need the bungees tighter.

I use two, too much trouble to use just one and have multiple things on it.

I have 2 . I clip the bottles to the top and bungees are clipped to the bottom. Got all other lights etc in pockets and on my bump cap leaving room for stages.

I use only one but it is really a personal preference thing.

Two, bottom to clip my backup lights and the neck snap of my cylinders and top for my reg, stages, and light.

I have 2 on my nomad. Top for bungees and bottom for stages and back up lights etc.

On my custom harness I only have one and I clip the bungees to it. Really no reason other than it is a different setup for a different mission.

It really just comes down to personal preference. Both configurations work just fine.
