Thanks for your suggestion. I am always happy to find a place to learn more about using my camera. ( OLY 5050 in a Ik housing )

I spoke with ARY tonight and he was telling me about ya'll meeting some of the locals while checking out the water filled holes. I told him if ya'll brought more beer and the special seat for the bumper the conversation might have been even more interesting. Might have even been a photo op or two!

Your welcome! Ray Eccleston told me about this magazine and I have been enjoying all the tips and the nice pictures. You have yourself a nice camera setup. The OLY 5050 takes great U/W pictures.

I agree with you about the beer and bumper seat. :) I heard that Larry used beer as a bargaining tool with the hunters. We had fun on our sink hole hunt! We only saw about 5 locals at the first sink when we showed up. We heard some stories about it going over 200' deep with a plugged up cave on one side. Another local told us that he heard about lots of 4 wheelers and a lawn mower at the bottom.

The crowd grew bigger and bigger after we got into our SCUBA gear and the stories kept growing. We didn't see much other than lots of beer bottles, beer cans and some golf balls at the bottom. I happened to find a free shaft which someone lost. I guess this person either didn't know, or didn't care, that it's illegal to spearfish in freshwater in Florida.

We swam around the sink for about 30 minutes and we exited to a rather large crowd of locals. They were very nice and they wanted to know what we found. Some were actually placing bets on how deep the sink was.
