Just got hold of the new map of the devils system. I had a copy of the old jeff hancock map (the blue background one) and this one is far superior. I also had the opportunity to work with some earlier versions of this map and it has been much improved over those as well. I find this map gives me great dive plan info, the lines and their placements are all shown and the shape of the cave is accurate along with the placement of prominent features...it is an excellent dive plan tool....not only that but i will be able to put in on the wall at work to keep me reminded of why i am subjecting myself to that drudgery...to afford my cave diving habit of course. In short i will get much use out of this map, and its worth the price...about the same as a primary reel (hey i own three of those anyway). If you are going to dive devils at all you will find this map invaluable...well off to ginnie for a dive or two...first i think i'll take the mainline to the roller coaster, jump to the short cut and hit the bats, then take the hillier to double domes and then back down the mainline.
