Has any one else noticed the changes in the mainline on their way into Jackson Blue? It looks like extra line is tied off at the bottom of the chimney. A more noticable change is the routing of the line as you enter the second breakdown room; the line is now against the right wall and ceiling as you enter. Has the higher current caused the line to get kicked off of its placements more often? The line appears to have been tightened. Keith

Someone came in the shop the other day and said the gold line had been broken and they fixed it. They probably rerouted it to be able to retie the broken ends. I havn't heard about any changes to the begining of the line. I haven't been in JB for a couple of weeks, been diving Hole in the Wall lately. I will go check it out soon. Edd

Keith, Yes, I noticed that as well on our dives...there was also about a foot an a half of line hanging from a tie at the entrance to the first or second ( i can't remember which). Bill

I wasn't sure it went, it was doubled back about 100 ft and flow was kicking. Nasty tangles and knots.
It was broke and I fixed it.

My Thanks to you as well Steve.

Where was the last tie in point that was secure when you found it? Did it look like it was cut or worn through?

I did notice the line between the 1st and 2nd breakdown seems like it has moved up to the ceiling, or has it always been that way? It doesn't seem very conducive to pull and glide.

I really can't remember to well(need more He). I seem to remember tying it before the second breakdown. I didn't look at the ends to close so I don't know why it parted. But there divers there that told me about the break, maybe they remember.
