Just made the rounds,

Cow: water levels have dropped a lot but still pretty high. Water is black with no visible boil.

Ditto for Challange Sink

Orange Grove: similar except the duckweed is pushed away directly above the cave entrance. No visible boil but the duckweed pushed away is a small positive sign.

Didn't bother with Telford, hole in the road makes it impossible to drive all the way there.

Mosquitos are unbelievable :axe:

Is this hole full of water, or can you see water at the bottom? How deep is it, to the top of the water?

Were on the road? Near the boat ramp, or closer to Luraville?

It's not full of water. It's on the road leading to the boat ramp, maybe 100 yards before the boat ramp. It's not huge, but I can't drive around it because of the narrowness of the road/trees. Maybe 5ft dia. x 2+ft deep.

Thanks Mike for the update. How many steps are showing at Orange?
Richard said the interior road we use to go to the office has drained but it's muddy. They are saying we could get one to two inches of rain this Sat.
Leg hurts more than I thought it would so I have a few days off you'll have to be our eyes, keep us informed.

Hi Janet,
I didn't count the steps but the wooden horizontal hand rail around the bench on the lower platform at O.G. is out of the water. There is still yellow tape up leading to PI so I didn't make it down there.
Take care of that leg, you will need it to run from the 'skeeters, their vicious. See you soon!!!

Sorry to hear conditions are still icky there. Guess you will just have to go spend some more quality time with Bug.

:)

Hope you mend soon Janet - sorry to hear your leg isn't doing so well.

Hope to see y'all soon!

Or more time diving Ginnie  Lack of costumers = more diving for me, makes up for those 12 & 14 hour days I put in around Thanksgiving/Christmas

The road to Telford has been graded and the hole filled in, they even managed to grade the parking area a bit.
Water levels are very high, barely below the parking lot. The water is very black. Needless to say, no boil.

Hey Kevin, I actualy brought my digital camera with me to get a pic of the hole in the road but it was filled in when I got there. Could have taken pics of the water but I was to busy running from the 'skeeters...yea...they are that bad.

 Hey Jammer, Looks like we won't be getting up that way 'til the end of May over Memorial Week-end, we will be up there thru Tues. Trying to get things around here done while water is up. Seems things get backed up when you're not around to keep up with them.Did get a chance to dive Hudson Grotto a couple of times. Hope all is well up your way. Gypsy Diver
