Telford Conditions

Well, since Janet is doing a great job of giving us Peacock conditions, I should get off my butt and start posting about Telford.

At it's worst, a week or so ago, the water was within 100 yards or less of the dirt road intersection down the road from Bill's.

Yesterday, the road is still underwater in spots, the river water flowing over the road into what I have named "Lake Telford". You cannot get to the parking area yet.

I will try to keep everybody updated.

I guess I will report on LR. As of Saturday, the park was still closed. The water is covering the road well before the gate.

Just went by there (Telford). The water flowing over the road has dropped way down, probably by tomorrow it will have stopped.
Looks like 4x4's started getting back there but my low rider getto cruser of a van...I was a little concerned I would get stuck. I'll drive by again tomorrow.
Sucks living less than 1-1/2 miles away from one of my favorite caves an not being able to dive it for months at a time :cry:

Oh it's okay...it didn't really bother me anyways...besides I have lost all my diginity tonight as my wife just dragged me back form the mall where she was attempting to force me to buy a pair of pink swim trunks to go cave diving in. I can just see pulling up at Ginnie and getting out of the car with those on. No one would want o be my dive buddy then.... :-D

Dude-I'll back your play, hang out as a safety diver- but leave the wetsuit/ drysuit on till we exit the water. ;-)

Last time I was in Vortex during my buddies birthday we had him handcuffed to dorm bed, had him shaving creamed him by a hot blonde and had the blonde rub on him down while she was un-cuffing him. It got so bad that the divers (Georgia Peace officers) who provided the "HARDWARE" walked out and just ask we wash off the cuffs and return them the next day.

Yeah, that was something for fun!

Okay...I'll end the hijack...

I have a buddy coming down next week, and he was wondering how Cow was doing. I figured since Peacock and Telford were blown out Cow probably was also, but if I remember correctly it usually comes back a little sooner.
