Some of you know that I sold all my dive gear and move out of the US last month. I had some great years of tech and caving in Florida. I'm heading to Thailand in 2 weeks for a year "sabbatical" in South East Asia.

I'm looking for dive contacts (OW, tech and cave) so I can get involved in diving there. I'm not looking for a paying job nor do I want to be a paying tourist.

Hoping to find someone that needs help in exchange for gear and dive access. It could be helping with some private cave exploration project (wishful thinking perhaps), classes or fixing gear. Could be for a few days, weeks or months.

Been diving for 17 years. Tech/cave 5 years. Full cave/Abe Davis/DPV/Mixed gas/blending. NAUI Tech 1. SM/dry cave/vertical. Fluent in French and English. No instructor ratings. Very good at building/fixing things. (In real life, I'm a chemist (Ph.D.) but I doubt anyone would be in need of one ;))

PM or post in this thread.

Thanks,
Raphael

I have a good friend in Thailand (British guy, not Thai). He is not a diver (avid golfer, ugh!), but he is an excellent gatherer of contacts in all sorts of areas ;) I would be happy to forward your message and email address to him if you like.
