Hello Howie & all.

My condolances. We spent a few hours on the phone chatting about the prospect and medical issues. I have a bit of an understanding what you have been going through.

Howie, you are welcomed to join me on a dive anytime, I know we didn't get to go like we talked about in Dec 2004. But there is always the future, Try and keep your mind set looking forward. There is always a shoulder to lean on if you need it.

Thank you all for the kind words, thoughts, and prayers. This is the toughest thing I think I have ever been faced with. I knew it was a serious possibilty 9 months ago, but that doesn't make it any easier. Luckily I was able to walk away from work and everything else in life to spend the last 9 months with her.

When my head clears a bit more, I looking forward to getting back in the caves. It was great therapy for me while we were in Gainesville for radiation and chemo. She loved for me to be able to dive while we were there for treatments. I'm sure cave diving and diving in general will be great therapy while I try to move forward. I will be back soon.

Thanks again,
Howie
