Apeks Tec3 Reg Set for Sidemount?

Is anyone using the Apeks Tec3 regs for sidemount diving? How is the hose routing? Post pics if you've got them!

Ah, I have that exact same question. I am about to go back to mexico next month to learn sidemount. I BM with Tec3s and use DS4s for stages. I have seen some videos on youtube (DRlocal channel) where one of the guys uses Tec3s for SM, but I cant get a good look at the routing. I believe it is phil from the DR. perhaps he will respond.

I've done a fair bit of side mount diving since I made that post. I wouldn't call myself an expert by any means, but my experience is that DST first stages make hose routing a lot easier.

I agree with Max. DST's are the best IMHO. It allows the reg and inflator hoses to swivel up when you're using them and swivel back down when they're tucked in the retainer bands. I hate the turrets for backmount especially singles, but for side I can't imagine anything but
