I have a light that I cant use as I broke the bulb or it blew maybe as I have it few years now. Problem is I cant source a bulb anywhere online. I have found a few but the fittings are not right. I have enclosed pics so maybe some one out there has one like it or can help point me in the right direction. Its a slimline cannister with 12 v batt. I dont know the output of the light but from the ones I rented in the states it looks like maybe a 10 or 12 watt HID. As I got the light off a friend ( TJ ) who bought it from some one else I did not ask questions just took it and was glad to get a light at all. ( the early years you listen to the instructor right !!!! )
Thanks to anyone who can help.

did you look to see if there are any identifying marks or letters at the base of the bulb?
Most lightbulbs have letters and numbers combinations, then figuring out manufacturer and possibly distributo may be easier. You could also pM TJ...
Dive safe, good luck!

Can you tell us who manufactured the light, or perhaps show us some photos of the whole thing that might help us figure that out? If we knew who made the light that would help with trying to find a bulb.
Brian
Looks like a 10W HID Halcyone, an older version. Bet ifyou can find a UK Light Cannon, should work just have to resolder the wire's.

It really seems a Welch Allyn bulb.
There should be written on the black plastic www.walamp.com (http://www.walamp.com) M10N001
Pin are shorter, but is easily possible to sold something to get them longer.
If that is the bulb that I suppose you can check on the Welch Allyn website, the price is only 30 US each (but you have to make an order of 100 US minimum)
