I saw some fresh green plant peices on the bottom just downstream of the trash room(1700') the other day. I thought the mystery shaft was plugged???...This was right after some serious rain so maybe it got flushed in there from elsewhere. Also, I think I found the deep section :) - it's before the 2nd Tee - am I warm?

The trash pile is only one of a few sink holes that tie into JB. It sits in a man's yard in the front and is unaccessable. I have been up it to about 9 feet but I really don't recommend repeating that.
No you're not warm on the entrance. I will be there later in April and if I can't push it any further I may give up the location . . . maybe.

Scott,
I remember Pat telling me of his similar trip into the Mystery Shaft. He said he had sticks and logs falling around him. That was his last trip in there too.
Please don't give away the secret of the deep section!
Thanks,
Kenny P.

Yeah, I wouldn't want too many more people to chance on that.

Were you asked by the same individual that I was to go there this last weekend?

I could see to at least 120ish from where I was. Sure looked interesting but it was tight right at the beginning before opening up a bit. I did'nt have time to investigate.

The stroke form Louisianna? If so, yeah I got the phone call early last week and told him no.
Are we still on for later in April?

If jay is the lastest derogatory term describing non-Nazi divers then yes, it was him.

Now that I have some of that 400 foot gas breathed down in those doubles I can remix some 200 foot stuff. So, yes we are now on.

Maybe we should give our pistols to the Old Man to hold for us that weekend so that we don't try and use them on each other.

Interestingly enough, if you type the work st--ke into a message at this point, TJ or someone has devised a routine to automatically change that word to "jay"
Clever devils, ain't they?

So let me get this straight. The leading cause of death among the obese is heart-attack and stroke?
Too funny,

I believe that you have just began to scratch the surface of the "jay" routine. As example, I offer:

Tiger Woods is two stroke back at Augusta.
In tennis, a good forehand stroke is important.
The artist captured the moment with a stroke of his brush.
My girlfriend likes to have me stroke her hair.
If DeWayne does not lighten up on the handicap parking, he will have a stroke.
Do not stroke your cat the wrong way.

The list is endless.

And by the way Rob. Aren't you supposed to be working? Get off the net and do something productive, you slacker! <(-:}

So I guess you don't want to hear about the fact that I have spent the last couple hours working on homework while sitting here at my desk, I have called 4 friends on the taxpayers tab, and I am again surfing the net versus actually doing something productive. The joy of being a state employee! I think the best part of it is that I don't try and hide it from work, I just don't worry about it. Everyone in my office knows that I spend almost as much time surfing the net as I do actually working. The sad thing is that I get more done then most people do, and it is always represented on my evaluations.

Rob,
I know what you mean. I can do the same thing at work. I get more done with less effort, than most there. That is in part to the 23 years I've had to perfect the skills and the rest to my self driven personality.
Thanks Buddy,
