Hey Stephen,

We have a used UV-18 with a lithium ion battery pack, which makes it 26 amp hours (equivalent burn time as the UV-26). Selling it used for $4,500 at Cave Excursions East. You'd be getting a short body scooter with long body burn time. I know that's a bit for a first scooter, but it's a nice unit.

Thanks,
Allen

I know someone selling a torpedo that was just factory serviced for $500. You might be able to grab it for a little less if you try. It's in Melbourne, Fl. Let me know if your interested.

I had to turn down a good condition Mako on ebay that I could have had for $1000. Great for caves, wrecks or blowing sand to uncover artifacts.

I've made an offer on a SS U-V 26. We will see, but so far it looks like a pretty nice scooter. I will more than likely seal the deal tomorrow. I am about 6'2" and 280lbs, diving with a Megalodon rebreather. A 40cf and an 80 cf bailouts. Does this seem like a good choice DPV for my first one? I welcome any input.
Warm regards,
Steph

NO NO NO!!!!

I will help you out though. When you get the UV-26 let me know and I will trade with you. That way you will have a Mako with brand new batteries.

Mike, Hector asked first, but if he doesn't take it, it is yours.

Yes you need to see what I did to yours. Increased the speed by 30% and put in 40 amp hour battery. Same weight.

The UV-26 deal did not work out. I have made a deal on a UV-18. I should have it by next week. I do plan to buy the 26 upgrade soon. I think this way I can eat my cake, and have it too. Thanks to all.
Warm regards,
Steph
