Are the results in on the CDS elections? If so, who's in and who's out. Thanks.

The ballots don't get opened until after May 15th.

Thanks Forrest. Is voting still going on? I just joined the CDS on line a couple of days ago, and I probably won't get a card for awhile.

Ballots went out March 15th, and are due back May 15th. If you joined before March 15th, then you should get a ballot.

Since we are on the topic...
Can someone please explain the vote counting and tabulation process for this election... Who counts the votes, how are ballots secured/accounted for, anonomity assured, etc, etc. We are all very interested in learning I am sure. Thanks!
John
I voted online and did not send in the ballet card by postal mail. I also read that many members claim that online voting is a violation of the rules. Does anyone know if they are counting the online votes or have they reconsidered? Would mailing my ballot be a safety net or considered an attempt to vote twice?

The ballots go to the administrative manager. She locks them away, until the day of the actual count. The count will be done by a "bi-partisan" committee.
The ballots will be checked for duplicate serial numbers to prevent "stuffing the ballot box". Each ballot will be read aloud, so several people can take independant counts. As a result, there is no way to correlate the ballot (or voter) to the actual vote.
The place for the count will be announced in a week or so before the count, and any member interested will be able to observe the count. There may be a space limit, depending where the count is done.
If the vote is close, there will be an automatic re-count.

There has been discussion about the online voting. However, it wouldn't be fair to any member, or candidate to disallow online voting after many people have already voted. Don't send in the paper ballot, because it will show up as a duplicate, and be discarded.
