Park Manager Tom Brown has closed the park to all diving this morning.
The Suwannee River is rising due to all the rain Florida and Georgia has received filling the system with tannic water. Troy Springs is also closed
to diving.

The tannic water was back as far as Challenge today, really dark.
Two steps on the lower level at Orange was dry and 5 at P1, we're
not having a flood YET just a river rising. We're to get rain tonight then dry out for a few days. Hopefully a lot of the rain we've had has missed GA. We saw a 6' gator at P2 laying on the rock yesterday as we relocated the P3 walkway lumber to higher ground. Park Manager Tom Brown, ISSP Ranger Patty Martin, Ranger Richard West, Kevin & Alicia Schryver, Mike McAuffie, and Peter Doege all worked very hard. We did give them a small reward of lunch and a free T-shirt. It was really great that Mike, Kevin, Alicia and Peter pitched in to help us, they could have gone to Ginnie diving but they stayed with us. Thanks guys. :D Thanks Patty you went above & beyond the call of duty.

The water was coming in, very ominous!

Mike was directing us and making sure the trucks were loaded properly.

Here is the rest of the crew. That lumber was wet and heavy!
