This is what I got back in response to the FOIA I filed on the 22nd. The FOIA request will go forward - however, it appears that a decision has been made - in no small part due to all of the participation on the petitiions.
Bravo folks - now let's get the effort together with our saws and hammers to build the walkways and such that the park wants.
I have a nice Dewalt Circular Saw and know how to use it (I don't have a "Circular Saw Card" though, and it IS at least as dangerous as cave diving!)
Just say when and where you want it, and its operator, to show up.

Can you make the document images available without having to register? That would be nice, my own little foia request <smile>

That limit is caused by the system thinking the link is "external" if you're not logged in (to prevent people from using the forum as a "file storage media")
I can fax you a copy of the exact transmission I received if you want - I have the TIF file as received in my system.
I'll see if I can work around the registration issue for full images - there are limits in what a CGI can "see" in terms of the referring web page, which is where the problem initially comes from.

no problem, don't go to the effort....thanks for what you have done.

Great news! Thanks!
I'd love to read it the letters. Would it be posiable to host a copy of them on this forum?

Just log in over on mine....
The files are fairly large and I'm not "hosting" them - they are actually stored in the database on my system.
The original was in TIF format (as are most faxes) so it was a bit of work to break it down into something that would display reliably for people.....
Thanks. I actually found them (minus the cover sheet) on TDS.
Sounds like good news.

Great news. After a little over a year of dealing with Park management and governmental officials, it's good to move forward with this project.
Thanks to Karl, John, Nick, Rich and everybody involved in the process of moving us this far forward.
It looks as though a work crew will soon be in order with donations needed of time and materials for improvements.
Maybe I can fix Genesis up with a Circular Saw training- not certification- card.
Thank you all,
Johnny

I have all the tool, and I am very good at building. I don't mind helping out, I just have to schedule it on my day, or weekend off.
