Anyone for apprentice on Jan. 2010?

I am taking apprentice with Johnny Richards on Jan. 1,2 2010.

Depending on the instructor's schedule, we may do both apprentice and full cave at the end of year, beginning of new year. If this happens dates will change to 2 days on last week of Dec. for apprentice and 2-3 days for full at the beginning of 2010. I will update the thread as soon as this is finalized.

Good luck! Drag Johnny to our social, in the pavilion nearest Little Devil's spring. I won't be there, but several other CDF members will be. He is a member too, but doesn't post very often.

It is true... although I still cannot believe it. I am full cave and now I have a license to learn... The class was great! Johnny was very thorough and attentive to the detail.

Forest, he did tell me the same thing you said about propulsion... the swirls that I make in silty systems and that I need to work on my technique and practice practice practice!

Can't wait for the next trip to North Florida!!!

I was there with 2 buddies and we parked right by you guys on the 1st. Both of my buddies either have trained or are training with Johnny. I'm just cavern, but I hope to start my cave training with Johnny this year.

CONGRATS!!!! I did my Cavern and Basic with Johnny. Had a great time. The other guy in my Basic class didn't make it through thou.. Kinda tuff some times
