Off the subject, but I'm glad to see my local paper isn't the only one that's too stupid to know how to split-hyphenize words that won't fit on one line.
Re-strooms?

RV camping? I hope they are not serious. Waste water sewage and electrical in a area prone to flooding. Plus where would it be located without the use of MR. chainsaw? Maybe it is nice there is limited money at the moment.

Yeah, don't you just hate it when you get everything stroomed, and then have to go back and re-stroom it all! Happens to me all the time!

Not only RV camping but (years down the road) more than likely, there will be cabins there as well, like Lafayette Blue Springs State. This was pretty much in the Unit Management Plan from day one. Ranger station, ranger residence(s), yadda yadda Edit: See page 48 & 49 of the UMP
Every state park in Florida has one of these UMP's, here is a link to Little River's Unit Management Plan: http://www.dep.state.fl.us/Parks/planning/parkplans/LittleRiverSpringsStatePark.pdf
NOTE: For y'all that keep thinking you can access closed-to-diving state park caves (Troy for one example) using the navigable water way argument from the river, please note on page 26 of this document, the section that is titled "Additional Considerations" it clearly states that the park has jurisdiction 400ft out from mean high water....which is what I have been trying to tell you for years now. Most, if not all, the state parks that are on rivers have this written into their unit management plan. If you read through them (the UMP) close enough, you will find where the actual law/code is quoted. I don't have time to hunt for it in this doc now but I guarantee you it's there. Edit: See page 5
Read #8-A thru 8-E of page 27....you think they are going to continue to allow scooters??? :rollguy

This is (in my opinion) good news indeed...!
I sort of figured on this due to the current financial situation.

I live in Live Oak, Florida and saw the 2 news articles
in the local paper and thought it would be a good idea to
post them on the forum for everyone to see updates.
I know it was interesting to me and thought cave divers
would like to read about it, too.
Take Care,

I stroom.
You stroom.
He, she, and it strooms.
We stroom.
Y'all stroom.
They stroom.
I may not be from around here, but even I know that's wrong. It is not an irregular verb, so it is:
I stroom.
Y'all stroom.
He, she, and it strooms.
We stroom.
All y'all stroom.
They stroom.

I ask this not in jest, but seriously, since I've never been able to figure it out:
Why do yankees think southerners use the word "y'all" as a singular pronoun? Is it because ignorant yankee actors portraying southerners on TV and in the movies do it? I've lived in the south for over fifty years and I've never once heard a southerner use it in that form. :smt102

People up here don't seem to get it's a contraction of "You" and "All".
So, All Y'All is redundant as well.
I mean, you've got "Everybody" and "F'ing everybody" in NYC; shouldn't be that hard to understand conceptually for a yank. I'd use a different adjective, but there isn't one that would be correct in this case, well except the full expletive.
However, he's posting form Florida.... :smt102

Many, if not most Florida residents aren't from the south. He even mentioned that he's not from around here.
"yall" can be either singular or plural, depending on context, for example "Where yall going?" can be said to my wife alone, or to a gang of people, and is perfectly correct in either case.
On the other hand, "all yall" is always plural, as in "all yall yankees ought not be talking with such authority about this."
And for those who might be confused Florida (except for the area from about Pensacole to about Marianna - the redneck riviera plus a little bit) is not in the South. Hell, only a little bit of Memphis and none of Atlanta is in the South.

When you went to school, you rode in a short bus, right?

Yankee:)
Thanks for posting that Cynthia!!
And just to expand a little on Florida and South, anything between the turnpike and I-75 is still the south. :)
We yankees are askeerd to go more then 20 miles inland. :)

And, let's not forget the all important Plural-Possessive "all Ya'll's"!
Reminds me of the Yankee-talk "you'se guys" and from My Cousin Vinnie "Youts".
