Has anybody tried a weight vest over the drysuit?
So that u donīt must have so much weight on the belt.

I looked into this as a possible solution a while back but decided to take a different approach to things because I didn't care for the location of the pockets.

I dont use a belt or heavy steel tanks. I prefer aluminum 80's and stage bottles over heavy tanks. this way if I must remove bottles for some reason I dont become overly buoyant.

When diving in the ocean with my drysuit I used to use the DUI vest with removable pockets. I was using a single AL80 and needed 26#. I used ankle weghts and I used 4 6# weights around the waist with the vest. Befor getting in the boat I would hand up the weight pockets. Was ok, better than a weight belt.
I don't dive this way anymore so have not used it in awhile. Still have the weight vest.
