I noticed that none of the lists I have seen lately mention a really cool cave that is in Orange county. It is by Rock Springs, has anyone here been there? I have several years ago, it is a small beautiful cave with a unique cave crayfish. It is called Apopka Blue. I wonder if anyone knows the current access status?

I do believe that I have heard of the Cambrian Foundation doing some dives at this site. I don't really know anything about this group other than that they have also done some dives at Rock Springs (I think).

Access is closed via locked gate and local authority patrol.

They will write you for trespass there. Just an FYI.

If you're looking for something in the Central Florida area... might wanna check out Blue Spring. :)

There is absolutely no comparison between Blue Spring Orange City, and Apopka Blue! Do you know anyone who has passed the rock in Blue Springs and lived to tell about it?
