Hi,
Putting together a trip to France for next weekend. Any suggestions on fill stations, locations, places to stay.
Also anyone with this book Underwater Guide to the Lot & Dordogne by Andrew Ward (which is out of print and the new addition is not available until this winter) who can copy or scan a few pages I would appreciate it.
Any guidance would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Hi There,
Nothing much concerning gas station and all that, but you can contact:
The Cave Diving Centre at St Chamarand in Lot offers accommodation in gites (one double/two bunk-beds or one double/four bunk-beds, kitchen, toilet and shower) with meals as required. Full-board costs 270 euros a week. It also supplies technical gases and rental dive gear and has a well-equipped shop. Cavern- and cave-diving courses can be arranged (0033 565 317748, www.cdclot.com). Gas fills are also available from Andre Grimal in Gramat (Grimal.andre@tiscali. fr).
Also if you have time try Port Miou close to Marseille directions Cassis Calanque En vAu, you will enjoy the French caves.
Safe dives

Forrest sent to me his personal email. I sent off a note this morning.
Also the Lot dive Center web site finally came up. I got in touch with them last night...
Also got a few GPS coordinates for the caves.
I am getting excited!

I had booked marked this fill station. I am worried about our America spec tanks. Already heard we may have huge problems here. Our friend Guy Wallis has filled our tanks.
Here is the Lot Dive Centre site. This is recommend by Guy Wallis and it is mentioned on Andrew's web site too.

This is going to be a quick hop and back.
We leave Thursday night and return back Tuesday morning.
We are taking the ferry. We shall see what all we accomplish.
