Bob want to put an updated list.

We update the list every time someone volunteers something. Go ahead and pick something (lettuce, tomatoes, and onions, for example, or maybe potato salad or baked beans) and a moderator will put you on the list as donating that.

I'm going to hit a few more grocery stores where I know the managers to get some more donations, and when I get a commitment I'll post them.

I have both. Will there be any electricity on site? I was thinking about making a crock pot full of baked beans, but they're only good hot. Okay, they're pretty good cold, too, but I would rather have a place to plug in the crock pot.

No electricity that I know of, but I could leave my truck running with an inverter plugged into the cigarette lighter.

Or, less dramatically, we could just put them on a grill.

I didn't say it was great....I said it was KILLER! As in....people have died (or at least claimed they were going to) from my cooking! ;) Count your blessings!

It would certainly lessen the demand for dessert :-)

Or I could plug it in at Bill's a couple of hours before lunch, then bring it over when we start serving.

Somebody else go ahead and sign up for potato salad and baked beans - my truck is going to be full enough as it is.

Wouldn't be fair to take it if your not going to be there. Besides, with your description of "Killer", we'd probably want a taster... :-)

Does anyone have a moderately sized grill we can borrow ? We have one for the hot dogs/hamburgers, but it would be helpful to have one to keep the beans, chili and other sides warm.

Thanks,

Jay

I am bringing a small coleman stove that will just fit my two chil pots. We can swap it around pots if necessary, but I really want my chili to stay hot. Some sternos may work for stuff that just needs to be warm.

The NSS-CDS and North Florida Springs Alliance has donated some tee shirts for the social. I am unable to attend the event so if someone can come by my house in High Springs I will pass the shirts on.
