Maybe its just me but is "colorful drysuits" an oxymoron?
Does anyone have suggestions for a good cave dry suit which has some color to it?

You can get a DUI in a ton of different colors to suit your needs...

Of course as we all know, if you get a "colored" suit, you'll die in the cave. All suits should be black and have your last name stitched in 3m reflective tape on your arms.

If I had to wear a black suit I believe I'd quit and find another hobby.

I think if I had to buy a new one I would go with pink and print on the arms in reflective D.I.R. Do It Retarded.

Looks like I may be in trouble then as I used 4 inch letters and sewed them upside down on my ass

I told Lamar I'm going to get the Dive Rite orange drysuit so when I
dive you'll all see me coming & get out of my way, but it is a very nice color. Janet

Hi Richard, if you want a colorful drysuit, my friends at DUI can help you. I like black the best. I do like some colors for drysuits but pink is not one of them.
http://www.dui-online.com/dry_select.htm if you ever want to chat just pm me.
Take care and safe diving, Matt :o

You can still log it as two dive day, including the chamber ride.

And about the question of dry suits with color. I like to photograph and find a little color on black or dark blue ( i e DUI) isn't great for pictures. Any suggestions for brands of dry suits with color?
I was diving with a buddy from germany soon moving to italy and he commented that diving in america was like diving at a funeral...everyone is dressed in black. how depressing. his drysuit was green and orange and black and underwater he glowed like a deep sea creature. he was looking forward to moving to italy, sardinia actually, where he could buy a more colorful drysuit and for less too!

I don't think that the color of the drysuit matters, as long as it doesn't clash with your tanks, booties, and fins. Stripes tend to make you look thinner, but those awful thick boots make your calves look fat. Painting your pee valve bright orange is also gawdy.

Is it just me, or are the only color of drysuit besides black you ever see is orange. Well I guess orange is a good color for us in the sunshine state 8)

mine is black across the mid to lower, with dark blue from mid to top, acorss shoulders, with a bright ass lime green line. Tanks are cave skemeeed, with some grey showing at the mounting location and the regs are bright too-(birght yellow), the mask is black to match my legs. My back up lights are black, so when i drop them, i know know-one else will pick them up. ,.. trying to fit in.
