Does anyone know any instructors in FL that will teach full cave in sidemount config besides Jill Heinerth or Jeff Loflin? Right now I am apprentice certified and proficient in sidemount config. I don't want to switch back to backmount because I have developed the muscle memory in my current setup. I looked on the NSSCDS website for instructors who are teaching sidemount as a specialty for those who have already taken full cave, but it gives no indication who will teach full cave in the config.

I'm not positive on this, but check with Rob Neto, he posts as RN on the forums. I think he will teach you in the sidemount configuration?

thanks for all the replies everyone. FWIW I wasn't trying to avoid Jill or Jeff as I have heard they are both great instructors, at this point I am just looking at my options.

I don't think John dives sidemount.

I second Rob Neto. I think Jeff Loflin may be out of the country but I am not sure. He told me (at Edd's BD party) he was going to be out of the country teaching shortly.

I think Richard Dreher teaches in SM, but don't quote me on that.

Another for Paul Heinerth. An outstanding side mount instructor.
Safe diving,
Brian
