I am in Columbus. I am a sidemounter. I am also an instructor as well (not in sidemount, but happy to mentor). I was formally trained in sidemount by Lamar Hires and informally by Bill Rennaker. Also in the Columbus area that are excellent resources are Andy Dennis and Marty Bailey, both of whom are good sidemounters. We even have a sidemount cave somewhat locally we can dive. Andy, Marty and myself are members of the Columbus Sea Nags and we all dive year-round locally. We get to Florida to cave dive as frequently as possible. Lately that has been about every three to four months. PM me or e-mail me at teqdiver@yahoo.com for more details.

I'm a cave diver that recently moved to Cleveland. (Used to live in eastern PA.) Been cave diving for awhile now, but I just started side mounting my last trip to Florida over the New Year's holiday, so I'm just a side mount newbie. I got my start up pointers from Wayne and Edd. I was out at White Star on Sunday playing around with my rig. If you are getting together to do some side mount dives, I would appreciate joining in. Please PM me or email me at: dmoysan@yahoo.com

Hi Steve, I'll let you know if I am putting my sidemount kit in the water. I've been out teaching Advanced Nitrox/Deco the last couple weekends at Gilboa, but in backmount. Might be back out this weekend as well, if so might have to think about doing SM.
