Ok, Yesterday I got in my Nomad (thanks Bruce) and the right size (hopefully) hoses (thanks Edd) in the mail. and I spend several hours last night setting things up.

This weekend i will be draining a set of my doubles (underwater, of course) and then breaking them down for this conversion.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone on here that has helped guide me so far and I am sure that even after looking at all the old posts that I will still have a few questions.

I hope to be headed to cave country within the next few months, but until then, I am confined to local quarries and lakes.

If anyone wants to join me and make fun of me, I mean help me out, on a dive, just let me know. I will dive anywhere that is within a few hours of D.C. (PA, WV, VA, NC, MD, DE)

Thanks again,

Scott

Scott,
I'm stuck in NoVa ( aka DC ) as well. I moved from central east coast of FL less than two years ago and use to dive at least ever other weekend (cave and ocean) so am very motivated to find spots close to home. Headed to a spot ~2 hours from Falls Church in a few weeks if you are interested ....... will be diving sidemount and dry of course.

I'm back from the workshop and am interested in diving. I got some advice down there, and I don't know if it was the advice or my implementation, but it was a BIG mistake. I need to undo the change and go back to the way I had my configuration.

Anyhoo, I'm here in the greater Chantilly area and am looking to dive.

JR, Millbrook is close and so is Rawlings. Where are you headed near Falls Church?

I tried my new rig for the first time last weekend at Rawlings, i some trim issues and one of my regulators was breathing funny, so i didnt use it for long.

I would love to hear what suggestions you got at the workshop.

The next 2 weekends are booked for me, but i am free after that.

PM me and we can get together.
